The black bridge in UL. During the recent floods, the water was right up to the bottom of the walk way – you actually couldn’t see any light under the bridge. The bridge seems to be closed now – I assume this is because of all of the debris that is caught underneath.

Couldn’t believe this when I saw it… in fact, I nearly choked. Have a good look at this picture. See anything unusual?
There are a pair of feet below the tractor! When I eventually over took, it turns out the feet belong to a young fella sitting on the front of the tractor. He didn’t look warm, comfortable or happy, but at least he didn’t have to walk. The expression on his father’s face (I assume it was his fathers) and his own face were priceless. Safety first – they both had Hi-Vis jackets on. Off to work for the day – hoping the sun would burn through the fog!
Must say I prefer this shot. Was shooting at ISO3200 and my 30D doesn’t handle it well – there is so much noise in some of the photos, it’s hard to see what I was trying to get a shot of! That said, I think the noise adds to this shot a little. Any processing recommendations or suggestions from the people that shoot gigs regularly?
If you have some time on your hands, try to get out and see the Million Dollar Swing Band – it’ll be worth the trip!
