The detail in the stained glass windows of St. Mary’s Cathedral was incredible. I made the mistake of asking if it was ok to take photos in the Cathedral (after seeing that there were at least six other people with cameras taking photos). I was told that it is ok to take photos, but only with ordinary cameras. I had to explain that my camera was an ordinary camera and that it takes photos like every other camera. Unfortunately I was then told that I was not allowed to use my tripod “for professional reasons” (I still don’t understand what those reasons could have been).
The long and the short of it is that I got lots of shaky photos of the stained glass windows. It’s a very impressive building and is well worth a visit.
